What happens to your PDF

When you choose a PDF, it is opened in your browser on your own device. To write your brief or answer your questions, we send the text of the document over an encrypted connection to our servers, which pass it to our AI provider to produce the result. If your PDF is a scan with no text, the file itself is sent instead so the pages can be read visually.

We do not store your documents, the text taken from them, your briefs, your questions or the answers. Once a result is returned to you, it exists only in your browser until you close the page.

Our AI provider

Briefs and answers are written by a third-party AI model. Our provider processes the content only to return the result to us, does not use it to train its models, and may keep it for a limited period for safety and abuse monitoring under its own policies.

What we do keep

• Fair-use records. To enforce the daily free limits, we keep a one-way, salted fingerprint of your IP address with the time of each request, the lens you chose and the page and word count of the document. It never includes the document or its contents.
• Waitlist details. If you reserve Pro or Team, we keep your email address, the optional name you give us and the plan you picked, and use them only to contact you about the launch.
• Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.

Analytics and cookies

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal information. Emails we send may measure whether they were opened or a link was clicked.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your waitlist details or messages at any time. Use the contact form and choose "Privacy or data request", and we will handle it promptly.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
